I have never used Laundry Concierge before, what do I need to do?

 I don’t have lockers in my building. Can I still use your service?

Yes, you most certainly can! Please check out our list of Public Locations and feel free to give us a nod when you’re ready for a good old fashioned laundry day vacation. If you’d like to get on the VIP list and have our service in your condo please call or email us at sales@laundry-concierge.com.

 How do I place my order using Text Messaging?

It’s easy. Once you have your online account set up, simply text “laundry” and the locker number you put your clothes into to (647) 361-6361 and we’ll be there in a jiffy! For example text “laundry123”.

 Do you guarantee two day service? What about public holidays?

We do our best to ensure that your orders are delivered in a timely manner. However, we also need to ensure that we properly treat stains, repair items and press your clothes to a high standard. In most cases, orders are delivered back within two business day, but if one item is held up, we will hold the order until the next business day when everything is ready. Items such as shoe shines, sheets, pillowcases, hand washed items and other specialty items often require extra time to service. Our “On-Demand” system – clothes dropped off into our lockers with an order placed before the 9 a.m. will be picked-up that day, Monday to Friday. Exceptions: Our teams take civic, Ontario Provincial, and Federal holidays that fall on week days as well as each weekend to recharge.  You may always drop off orders and pick up previously delivered orders 24/7 including on the weekend. We will pick up and drop off the next business day.

 I put my dry cleaning or laundry in a locker, how do I pay for it?

PayPalPro – leading online processor and 100% safe and secure. You will fill in your payment info in your online account at sign-up. As soon as your order is picked up you will receive an email detailing your items and preliminary billing based on your default account preferences – e.g. you specify “dry clean” or “launder and press shirts”. Upon completion of your order and it is returned to your local lockers we will automatically charge your card. You will be notified of the locker #, the access code and your final bill. Please be sure to maintain an active credit card in your account so we can ensure your order is returned promptly.

 What does it all cost?

 Is my dry cleaning and laundry safe?

Absolutely! Remember, only you and Laundry Concierge has the digital code to the locker holding your clothing. If someone else wants to pay for your laundry, that is fine, but only the holder of this digital access code can retrieve it. If you like, you can easily give your code to your partner, roommate, etc. and have them pick up your laundry for you.

 How do I get a dry clean or laundry bag?

For your first order place you clothes to be cleaned in a new, suitable plastic bag (we will recycle these). When your second order is placed we return your cleaned garments in our custom dry clean and/or laundry bags.

 I would like Laundry Concierge to automatically charge my credit card, but is it safe?

Again absolutely! Laundry Concierge has partnered with PayPalPro, the premier online payment processor, for this single reason. When you enter your credit card information, we don’t actually keep your credit card anywhere in our system. We keep a reference to your last transaction and when you have a new order, we make a request to PayPal to charge you the same way you were charged last time. Therefore, we have absolutely no trace of your credit card number anywhere in our system.

 It has been a couple of days, where is my order?

Our standard turnaround time is two business days for any orders dropped off by 9 a.m. When we pick up your order and when we deliver it back, you will receive an email confirmation. If you didn’t receive the email, we either did not pick up your order, or we picked it up and did not know it was yours. This usually happens if you forget to place an order or enter the incorrect locker number. Please call or email orders@laundry-concierge.com.

 Do I have to be there when the Concierge driver picks-up and drops-off?

You got to be kidding? The whole reason to use a pick-up and drop-off service is to save you time, not pin you down and have you wait for us! We listen for your online order, email or text. You simply tell us you have dropped your duds off and away you go. No time slot to choose each week. No waiting when a pick-up driver is delayed due to rush hour traffic. NO waiting, PERIOD!

 No Concierge or Security in your building to leave your clothes with for pick-up?

Not to worry when you use your friendly neighbourhood Laundry Concierge locker service! Our custom lockers are built to keep your clothes safe, dry and secure whatever time of day you feel like dropping them off.  24 hours-a-day, 365 days-a-year.

 How do I schedule to have my order pick up during work hours?

No problem, any time of day. Simply place your dry cleaning, wash & fold laundry or shoes into any one of our convenient lockers, set your code, twist the lock and send us the message.

 Do I have to bring my dirty clothes to work for daytime pick-up and drop-off?

Pardon us? That would be a DIS-service to our customers and we’re in the service industry!  We wouldn’t dream of asking you to lug your clothes across the city just so you can meet our schedule. Simply place them in the lockers in your condo, at local public sites or our company owned kiosk around Toronto. Check out our locations page for the one near you.  If you don’t have lockers in your condo, talk to your Board and property manager, connect them to us and we’ll get your location on the VIP list.  What if my chosen time slot is taken by someone else?

That can’t happen at Laundry Concierge because we don’t ask you to schedule for us, we adapt to your schedule. Pop your threads in any available locker and send us the heads-up text or online order. That’s it, That’s All Folks!

 I forgot what dry cleaning I gave you?

Totally OK! We take an image of each dry cleaning garment you send us. Then we send that into the inter-web and it magically appears in your private Concierge ClosetTM. You can then see each item, make notes, and tell us what special treatment to give to each piece. No scribbling notes on a napkin and giving it to a pick-up driver hoping to the heavens above it makes it to the cleaner. We take care of that concern like no one else in Toronto!
